Canggu Lush Green Destination Wedding

Bali

Canggu’s lush green destination wedding of Tasha and Matthew. One thing that always makes us curious is about the proposal story. You know how it usually goes in a movie, the groom secretly kept the ring and took the bride to go to a beautiful destination before he finally said those four words, will you marry me? But Matthew has his way.

It's a funny story but I thought Zol (Zollie is Matthew's nickname) was going to propose while we were in Paris but he never did. Instead, he proposed in Bali, my childhood home, and it was a million times more special. I was not happy with him the day he proposed because he asked me to drive 1,5 hour to dinner outside of Ubud in a jungle, but I wanted to go to the beach for sunset. He ended up convincing me and prepared a private dinner in an elevated bungalow high above a river in the jungle and I ended up apologizing so much for being a pain. It was so beautiful even though we missed most of the light because I took too long getting ready."
